Almost here..

As you probably already know; for their spring collection H&M found a new designer for an exclusive spring-collection. The Italian Marni it is! The Versace-madness has just passed and they already found a new top designer to mix haute couture and wearable outfits, jeay! For the layman among us; Marni is an Italian fashion label founded by Consuelo Castiglioni (see picture above) in 1994, who remains as the label's designer.

Consuelo Castiglioni made the sketches by herself and the 8th of March, the exciting collection will be launched. We can expect typical Marni creations with great dessins and colorful accessories. Castiglioni stated in a press-release that the clothing will be characteristic because of the combinations of dessins and bright colors (for example tribal-motives and Bauhaus-prints).

What more can we expect?
The collection will also contain African inspired patterns contrasted to plain uni-color, pleated skirts, dresses, 7/8 pants and Jacquard knitwear. And yes, dear readers, there will also be jewelry, shoes, bags and scarfs so make sure you‘re near a H&M when the doors will be opened on the 8th of March. Also for the male-readers we have good news: there will be man-material too. Think of subtile dessins, mostly in the lining or as detail. To find out what you can expect, look at the pictures on the right.

Love,

IFT

P.S. Watch the commercial, which was set in Marrakesh, Morocco and directed by Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Sofia Coppola
