Next week, monday till friday we'll post a fashion trend for spring/summer 2012.

Today we start with a shoe-trend for summer 2012; the platform. For the leeks among us; shoes, boots, or sandals with thick soles at least four inches in height, often made of cork, plastic, rubber, or wood.

Marni for H&M, the whole collection!

Finally, the images of the Marni collection for H&M have been released and we say: LOVELOVELOVE! This collection is, according to VOGUE 'sure to be H&M's most coveted high street collections ever'.

I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favourite pieces in signature fabrics and prints," Castiglioni said. "As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements."

Well, she sure did! From the printed silk trousers and skirts, to the contrasting dresses, from the wooden heels to the abstract bracelets: everything in this collection has the amazing elegance of Consuelo Castiglioni.

As you probably already know; for their spring collection H&M found a new designer for an exclusive spring-collection. The Italian Marni it is! The Versace-madness has just passed and they already found a new top designer to mix haute couture and wearable outfits, jeay! For the layman among us; Marni is an Italian fashion label founded by Consuelo Castiglioni (see picture above) in 1994, who remains as the label's designer.

High, Higher, Haider!

Haider Ackermann is a fashion designer whose name have become well-known in the fashion industry. A big fan of him is Karl Lagerfeld, who also wrote about him in the newspaper ‘metro’, when he was editor for a week. This also was the motivation to write something about him on our blog. We have been watching Haider for a while now, but he never really had a breakthrough in the Netherlands. So for the Dutch bloggers, read this carefully :o)

My name is Danielle, I'm 21 and a friend of Anne.
I've lived in London for the past 5 months while I was doing an internship @ fashiondesigner Jean-Pierre Braganza.

Living in London is very inspiring when it comes to fashion. There are so many people living different lifestyles which sometimes can be very innovative. Working in fashion in such a big city can open many doord and you get to know a lot of people who inspire you.

Not only the city is a "Fashion Walhalla" but also the many shops we don't have/know in Holland are really inspiring. They offer styles and brands that are not yet in fashion in Holland. People in London dress like they feel and I think that we can learn from them when it comes to lifestyle.

SPOTTED: Faux Fur

A trend which is seen much lately, is faux fur jackets. They keep you warm, look amazing and make your look! Want to know how to wear it? Take a look at how these bloggers do it!

As you can see, these girls keep the rest of their outfit simple. A furry coat is enough, less is more! Another stylingtip: wear heels to lengthen your legs! A faux fur coat is most of the time very big, which can make you rounder. When your legs look longer, you will lessen this effect! Also, it is a good excuse to buy new heels right?
